The passion behind BanginBros traces back to 2008, when founder Anthony Barajas first experienced what a properly amplified subwoofer could truly do inside a vehicle. While installing car audio alongside his father, that moment flipped a switch—what started as curiosity quickly became an obsession. Long before Anthony ever picked up tools himself, car audio was already part of the family. His dad had sound systems from day one, filling their vehicles with bass and music well before Anthony even understood where the sound was coming from. Those early moments sparked a curiosity that quickly turned into an obsession. Anthony’s brother, Austin, soon joined in—followed by just about every friend in the group (and then some). Weekends were spent building the sound systems they dreamed of but couldn’t afford to have installed by a professional audio shop. It was never about perfection; it was about learning, experimenting, and enjoying car audio together.

Anthony began creating automotive content shortly after, sharing his journey across platforms like YouTube, Vine, and Instagram. That momentum continued to build until 2015, when the first official BanginBros Instagram post was published—marking the start of what would become a decade-long journey toward building a globally recognized car audio enthusiast syndicate.

As the brand grew, Team BanginBros expanded across multiple platforms, members, and countless vehicle builds. Legacy members include Austin, Cameron, Hunter, Kevin, Travis, Thomas, Eddie, and Nick—each playing a role in shaping the foundation of the team.

In 2019, the crew was joined by Myka Bennett, a pivotal addition whose patience and determination helps elevate BanginBros to higher levels. In 2025, the team welcomed its newest member, Corey “Butters” Butterworth, kicking off his basshead journey and continuing the tradition of sharing the passion for car audio with the next generation.

What sets the team apart is simple but true: not a single member came from a professional car audio install background. Every lesson was learned the hard way—through trial, error, and relentless experimentation. That hands-on experience shaped the team’s signature approach: stretching every dollar to its absolute limit and building budget-bangin systems that outperform setups costing three times as much. Through victories, setbacks, and countless refinements, Team BanginBros has built some of the loudest and most aggressive sound systems around—systems that demand attention from miles away. The professional shops they couldn’t afford in the beginning eventually became an afterthought, eclipsed by the builds they were now creating right in the driveway.

Since then, numerous car audio companies have taken notice—along with brands far outside the automotive space that had never given subwoofers a second thought. Collectively, Team BanginBros has driven millions of dollars in trackable car audio equipment sales, establishing the Double B’s as a proven force for any company looking to put products directly into the hands of real bassheads.
